It was a whole event! I loved being able to get hair and makeup done at the studio and then getting styled and posed. You really didn’t have to think of anything but just having fun. James and his team truly thinks about everything down to the “session prep guide” brochure that I got in an email that was absolutely helpful.

Nervous and excited because it was a new different thing in a new different place (interestingly not because I was stripping down to near bare in front of strangers. Go figure). I went into it just for the experience, figuring I’ll end up looking okay (I don’t consider myself photogenic at all) with the plan of buying pictures to support the photographer. And then, lo and behold, I ended up having fun AND looking kickass. Instead of knocking this off my “to-try” list I just moved it to the “do-again” list. Ah well. Best laid plans and all that.
